Trading Bridge Chrome Extension
Overview
Trading Bridge is a Chrome extension that connects the user's browser to their own private server. This policy describes what data the extension handles and how.
Data Collected
The extension stores the following data locally on the user's device using Chrome's built-in storage API:
- Login credentials (username and password) — used solely to authenticate with the user's own private server.
- Session authentication token — captured from the trading platform the user is already logged into, used to forward authenticated API requests.
How Data Is Used
Credentials and tokens are used exclusively to maintain a connection between the browser and the user's own server. No data is processed for analytics, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to this core function.
Data Sharing
No user data is sold, rented, or shared with any third party. All communication occurs between the user's browser and the user's own server.
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on the user's device via chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.session. Nothing is stored on external servers controlled by the extension developer.
Data Retention
Stored credentials remain until the user explicitly disconnects or removes the extension. Session tokens are cleared automatically when the browser session ends.
